The brakes are more rigid than the competitors and require both sides to be pressed in order to get full engagement of the brakes. Overall the quality of the 3D Lite is decent for its price. It's superior to the less expensive Kolcraft Cloud Plus but not as impressive as some of the more expensive competitors.
