Choosing a Pushchair Newborn

Check that the pushchair, buggy, or pram you purchase is 3 in one pushchair compliance with British safety standards. If it's part of a travel system, check that it also meets European safety standards ECER44/04 or R129. Before you begin using the pushchair, make sure that you've read the directions. It is important to teach anyone who will use it how to fold open, close and secure it. When the pushchair's not being used, remove all locking mechanisms.

Comfort

Newborn babies have a very small neck and little strength and therefore, they need to lie flat in order to be comfortable and to breathe. A pushchair without a lie-flat device is not recommended to be used by newborns or infants.
