If you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that doubles up as car seat carriers the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip-flop comfortable.

It's easy to push and it feels solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents who want a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Xplore can be transformed from a stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle. The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend like other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the other models and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and it can fit through doors with a width of 28 inches.

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are seeking a second stroller that's affordable. It scored highly in our single strollers that connect and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put in a trunk of a car. It also features a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as cup holders for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our push and turn test it performed better than most of the other cheap strollers we tried, but it's not the easiest to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the tiniest of strollers we tested. They only cover the top and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopies.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them move and it handled this fairly well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models on test.

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain jogging strollers. But they also manufacture a vast variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It folds easily and fits easily into the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we've tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels sturdy and well-made. It maneuvers expertly across different kinds of terrain, and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large, deep basket to accommodate a changing bag or plenty of groceries. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are sold separately).
