Cheap Single Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and do not need a stroller which can also be used as car seat carrier. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push and it is solid when walking along woodland paths and kerbs. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation as the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, but it does not flex as much as some other wagons we have test. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely when folded. It is easy to move however, and can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a car trunk or closet. It also has a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as a cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's missing some features that we consider essential for double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats, Stroller Single and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is billed as an urban travel system. It is designed to take baby from birth up to around 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot by just only a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the huge shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. Although it is a small pushchair single, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. On our walk on the stony path, we let them move and it performed well although it did seem a little bumpier than others that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also offer a great selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers we tested but the wheels are a rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two children, a shopping bag and other things.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be removed to reveal the UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong unlike other prams' hoods which are bounced back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also pair it with a Baby Jogger car seat for infants who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was an infant stroller that captivated the hearts of a lot of parents when it first came out. It's an aluminum-framed stroller that can be used from infant's earliest days through. The chassis is equipped with a built-in suspension system that helps reduce the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam and reduce punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to maneuver it through tight streets with ease.

It folds in just four steps and locks automatically without fuss. It is also able to stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the option to add a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are one action and are colour coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and features great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined to many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that are either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't great because it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can face one another or be turned around to face their parents, potentially cutting down on sibling disputes over who gets to sit with mom and dad. It has a huge bottle holder, a gear tray snack tray, and the ability to change mats. It also comes with a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who like to stay active. It's one of the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with great safety features like five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It also comes with a twist hand brake which is different from the lever type used on rival models.

The seat is well padded and provides a wide area to sit. However the seat's depth is less than that of other joggers (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin is encased with a zipper that keeps things secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats as it comes, but you can use it right from the start by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to assemble without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
